Clear nods to iconic sporting language are at the heart of a strong athleisure visual this season. From Louis Vuitton to H&M, via genuine athleisure brands such as Aether and Outdoor Voices, logos stand proud whilst classic notions of color blocking are brought up-to-date through scale, position, and color. Athleisure is celebrating its roots. COLOUR There’s no escaping athletic grey as part of this look, but it’s combined with more contemporary pale tones and the stark contrast of navy. Red, white and royal are revered symbols of sport and are treated as such. Rich purples and greens bring an element of sophistication and are paired with pastels not usually seen outside of fashion collections.
