Designers’ Handbook of T-Shirt Promotions, the newest volume in PRINT magazine zine’s Designers Handbook series, explains the hows and whys of creating great T-shirts, the kind that bring in business, support important causes, and express personal beliefs-the kind that get wom until they wear out. The best T-shirts from PRINT’s Regional Design Annuals are reproduced here in large size visuals, along with short essays providing detailed information about such matters as client specifications, printing requirements, choice of illustrator, source of imagery, and budgets.
The T-shirt promotions in this volume are divided into seven categories: Arts & Engineering. Companies & Services, Restaurants & Food, Sports, Religion & Charity, Museums & Attractions, and Retail. Each group is again divided into sub-categories, such as Design Self-Promotions, Bakeries, and Marathons. Introductions compare and contrast the styles and trends within each category and sub-category.
