Designed for socket AM5 motherboards using the powerful Zen 4 architecture with the 4nm process, this Ryzen processor delivers significantly improved performance compared to its predecessor while maintaining high energy efficiency.

With a base clock speed of 3.5 GHz and a max boost clock speed of 5 GHz in addition to 16MB of L3 Cache, the Ryzen 5 8500G is built to deliver the power needed to smoothly load and multitask demanding applications. You can boost performance further by overclocking this unlocked processor. Other features include support for PCIe Gen 4 technology to take advantage of high-bandwidth graphics cards and storage drives. The Ryzen 5 8500G also supports up to 256GB of 5200 MHz DDR5 ECC memory with compatible motherboards, which may be overclocked using AMD EXPO profiles for higher gaming performance.

This processor has a 65W TDP (Thermal Design Power) and includes a Wraith Stealth cooler. It also includes integrated Radeon 740M graphics.
