Treasured Theme for Casual Wear – Touched by Human Hand

Exploring the human connection within textiles, this eclectic, collected look and feel are developed by layering pieces with an aged or ‘touched by human hand’ aesthetic in vintage-inspired fabrics. We are inspired by the most recent collections of Acne and the scavenged, patchworked grounds of Philadelphia’s Magic Gardens and print design books.

Color

A tapestry of rich browns reaching from light tobaccos to bitter chocolate is layered with shades of blush and ginger in patchworked checks and Paisleys, supported by a true mid-indigo blue and faded black.

ATTITUDE

This is the new bohemian: an easy, laid-back aesthetic of relaxed pieces with a loved or worn-in look and feel layered head to toe in laundered, aged or loosely woven fabrics.

Fabrics

Vintage and traveled. A caravan feels of collected pieces built round rich browns, tobacco and spice hues offset by indigo and black. Worn and used finishes, vintage tapestry jacquards, the hand-loomed and handwoven, patchwork and stenciled prints with a semi-oriental feel.

A treasure trove of ‘vintage looking’ curios starting with worked leather strapping and belting, vintage leather labels, beaded chains and gypsy/Balkan style folklore patterning on braids and ribbons and ending with beautiful beadwork.
