The Manfrotto 055XPROB Tripod with 322RC2 Grip Action Ball Head and Bag Kit by B&H is comprised of a 70″ tripod, an auto-locking grip head that allows speedy single-handed operation, and a sturdy, padded case.
The black 055XPROB features the Manfrotto-patented Q90 transverse center column feature, which allows the column to flip 90° from vertical to horizontal by simply extending it until it hits the pivot point and lowering it like a boom. This feature coupled with independent leg angle adjustment of 23, 45, 65, or 88°, make the tripod ideal for uneven terrain, macro work, and low angle shooting. The 055XPROB’s flip-locks allow quick adjustment to the tripod’s maximum height or minimum height of just 8″.
The 322RC2 Grip Action Ball Head combines the versatility of a ball head with single-handed ergonomic control and a quick release for rapid mounting and dismounting of the camera. The lightweight magnesium head auto locks when you remove your hand from it, avoiding possible damage and freeing you up to change lenses, etc. There’s even a shutter release accessory for faster action. The 322RC2 has a bubble level and comes with a quick release camera plate with a 1/4″-20 mounting screw.
The included black MBAG80PN Padded Tripod Bag is a ballistic nylon bag designed to carry a Manfrotto tripod with a head up to 31″ long. Thermoform padding holds the tripod in place and protects it, especially the head, during transport. The zipper extends down the length of the bag, but also fully opens the top end of the bag. The end opening allows for faster quiver style extraction and insertion of the tripod. The bag is tapered to follow the shape of the tripod and head. A shoulder strap is included.
